House calls work best for assessment and decision-making — helping you understand what is happening, what can be managed at home, and when it is time to escalate. They are not a substitute for emergency care.

How house calls work at MyFamilyGP.

Doctor's discretion. House calls are offered at the discretion of the doctor, where clinically warranted. We will discuss your situation with you and confirm whether a home visit is the right next step.
Different rate. House calls are charged at a different rate than a standard consultation — see our Fees page.
Booked 24+ hours in advance. Home visits require at least 24 hours' notice so we can coordinate around the practice schedule. They are not an emergency or same-day service.
